Arrivals / quiet play
During this time we sit down for a drink, read books together, color a picture or play
a quiet game. I think it is important to start our day at a slow and steady pace, allowing the children to fully wake
up and gain energy for our exciting day ahead!

Circle Time
During this time read stories, play make believe, show and share, sing songs and play
games all centering around our monthy theme (ie/ March's theme is spring). This helps the children to learn through
play and have fun while doing so!

Morning Snack
Start and finish with proper washing of our hands as well as clean up of the area.
A healthy snack is an essential part of our morning!

10:30am - 11:45am
|
Arts & Crafts / Indoor or Outdoor play
Whether it's building a sandcastle in the sandbox outside, taking a stroll to the park
or creating a finger paint master piece inside, this is the time we let out our creative sides!
**Weather permitting, you may find us outside on the picnic table with glue stick in 1
hand, sparkles in the other!**

Preparing for Lunch
Clean up of the play room and/or activity area. Wash up for lunch!

Quiet Play / Nap time
Nap time when applicable. For those who no longer nap, they are provided with quiet
activities such as workbooks, stories, painting/crafts and puzzles. We may also do a special theme related activity
"just for them"!

2:30pm - 3:00pm
|
Music
Sing silly songs, educational songs or theme related songs. Learn rhymes and rythum.
Interactive music time for the children to learn and love.

Afternoon Snack

3:30pm - 5:00pm
|
Structured Play
Group activities, puppet theater, outdoor/indoor games. Weather permitting, we try
to spend our afternoon time outdoors in nice weather playing a friendly game of soccer, freeze tag or just climbing on the
outdoor equipment.
